# Cards

A **card** is a question TaloTrace opens when it cannot go on without you. It can appear during discovery or during a run. Examples: a test account is missing, a value is needed, or TaloTrace needs to know what the correct behaviour is.

Open the **Inbox** in the web app to see your cards. Your agent reads them with the `requests` tool.

## Who may answer

| Card                          | Who answers                                                                       |
| ----------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| A missing login or test value | You, or your agent with data you provide. It never invents an account or a value. |
| What the app should do        | Only you, in your own words. Your agent never answers this for you.               |

A card that nobody may answer on your behalf shows as needing a person.

## An answer is not yet applied

After you answer, read the card's outcome before you rerun. Nothing regenerates or runs by itself. You or your agent start the next run.
