Manual install for Claude Code

Install the TaloTrace plugin from its marketplace when you do not use setup.

Prefer talotrace setup. Use this page when you want the plugin itself.

The plugin brings the TaloTrace skills and the MCP server for one environment. Install the one you follow:

The plugin repository is private while the pilot runs, so you need access to the Growtrics GitHub organisation.

First use

The first TaloTrace tool call opens your browser to sign in. That sign-in covers tunnels only. When a tool answers INSUFFICIENT_SCOPE, your agent asks you and, on your yes, runs talotrace login --tools. See Sign in.

Reload Claude Code after installing, then run Check your install.

Do not install the plugin of two environments in the same project: their tools reach different projects.
